Embrace the cosiness of winter this December with slow living, nourishing daily yoga practices and delicious seasonal food.  A chance to embrace the beauty of Norfolk's winter landscapes and stunning natural world.

Think mulled wine and hot chocolate in front of the log fires, daily saunas, a wood-fired hot tub, and peaceful winter walks. Enjoy yoga classes and massages with experienced practitioners Lucy and Charli and winter meals cooked by our wonderful Beth, The Free Range Chef.

North Norfolk is best known for its ancient woodlands, chalk rivers, diverse wildlife, seal colonies, broads, marshes, wetlands and sandy beaches.

Slow living

Winter time can feel like a real challenge as we all retreat indoors and navigate the darker, shorter days. This is a beautiful opportunity to come together and carve out time for deep rest and grounding movement before the busy Christmas period.

 

This retreat will be a wonderful way to nourish your mind, body and soul when the energy and light is a little lower over winter. It's a chance to nurture yourself with moments for rest and alone time if needed, as well as plenty of opportunities to meet a lovely community of like minded yogis. 

​This retreat is open to all those that have an interest in yoga and nature (including pregnancy, post natal and those with injuries).

Accommodation

Come alone or with a friend/group of friends, we have accommodation to suit different requirements and budgets.

Luxury en-suite private and twin rooms.

Price range: £695-£975

Luxury private rooms with king size beds and en suite. 

Each room is unique - chose from different colour schemes and varying views. Some of the rooms have their own private balconies overlooking the surrounding fields or the sea.

Luxury bunk beds with en suite bathroom

Price: £625

4 luxury wooden bunk beds with private door into garden.

 The west-facing French doors offer access to the southern garden. The bedroom has an ensuite shower room and 2 shared toilets.

What to expect?

Yoga and Meditation

-Daily morning yoga, breath work and meditation classes

-Daily evening slow flow/yin yoga/rest/meditation 

-7 classes over the three days

-You will practice a range of varied yogic practices lead by experienced and specialist teachers

-An opportunity to deepen your practice and learn more about the history and philosophy of yoga.

Vegetarian meals cooked by Beth
The Free Range Chef

-3 nourishing, delicious and seasonal meals per day from our free range chef, Beth.

-All food is vegetarian and can be made vegan/GF.

-Every retreat we go on, Beth is loved by all!

-Dining and chatting together by the wood fired stove.

-Locally sourced and lovingly prepared, Beth is a passionate and talented vegetarian chef and food writer.

-Hot drinks and snacks will be available throughout the day.

Activities 

-Unlimited use of sauna and cold plunges

-Wood fired hot tub

-A wide range of winter walks (sea/forest/pub/cafe)

-The sea is a 30/45 min walk away (cold dips?)

-Local village, deli, cafe and pubs are a walk away

-Book a massage with our on site therapist (not included in price)

-Twice daily yoga and meditation classes

-Take time out by the fire to read, rest or connect with other yogis

-We have our own private massage therapist, Charli Livingstone joining us from North London. 

-Charli offers dreamy Ayurvedic massages - she is super popular so book ahead!

- £70 per hour (drop her an email with a £25 deposit to reserve)

Getting to the retreat

Dates: Fri 5th-Mon 8th December 2025

Location: Cley Next the Sea - North Norfolk.

Parking: There is lots of free parking on site. 

Train: Nearest station is Sheringham, from here you can get a shared taxi (approx 15 mins drive) or bus to the retreat house 

Coming from London on the train:  this is a simple journey requiring one change in Norwich. Total train journey time = 3 hours.
