Children's yoga and yoga in education

Teaching children since 2014, I am a fully qualified school teacher and children's yoga teacher with a PGCE and Masters credits in education.​ I teach weekly children's classes in both primary and secondary schools in London. 

Why I Believe Yoga and Mindfulness Are So Important for Children

I truly believe that yoga and mindfulness are powerful tools for children—not just for their bodies, but for their hearts and souls too. These practices help children slow down, breathe, and connect with themselves in a deeper way. In such a busy and sometimes overwhelming world, it gives them a sense of calm, grounding, and inner strength. I see yoga as a way for children to remember who they really are—peaceful, kind, and full of light. It helps them build confidence, feel safe in their bodies, and trust in their own inner wisdom. It’s not just about movement or stillness—it’s about giving children space to feel, grow, laugh and shine from the inside out.
