Finding freedom in the body and mind through movement and meditation

Our Services

"Begin where you are"

All of our bodies are different, we are all at different stages in our lives. Our bodies and experiences change each day. "Begin where you are" at this moment, without judgement or expectation. You are already enough.

Begin where you are

I'm Lucy, the founder of LEAM yoga. I'm based in East London and provide grounding and energising group and private meditation, movement and yoga classes for all abilities and body types. Private classes are unique and tailored for each student based on body type, energy levels, past experiences and goals. Each body is unique and special, hence why I never use a one size all fits approach for my students and clients. Instead I work closely with you to discover the ever changing needs of your mind and body as we move and change through our lives.

Finding freedom and connection

I started practicing yoga in 2013 due to tight muscles and a bad back from running, team sports and too much partying! I started noticing the profound benefits of yoga on my mind and body even after practicing just once per week.  Over a number of years I went on to gradually deepen my practice. I first trained as a drama and movement teacher in Yorkshire in 2014 and I then trained to be a yoga teacher, completing my 200 hours with the Hari Om yoga school in Milan, Italy.  I then went on to study a further 200 hour yoga course over 16 months with YogaCampus London where I passed with Distinction as an outstanding teacher. Further to this, I then trained in pre-natal, post-natal and parent and baby yoga as i studied with birth yoga specialist and doula, Alexa Dean at The Shala in London.  I have practiced yoga all over the world for the past 8 years with Morocco, Japan and Bali being some of my favourite places.

I'm also a qualified secondary drama teacher and have spent many years teaching in schools.
